Fair
Trade Shopping Guide for 2007!
There are lots of options for fair trade
gifts this year. Here's our short list:
1. Buy fair trade.
Educating for Justice has joined a coalition of
15 anti-sweatshop groups to endorse a fair trade
shopping guide for the second year in a row. Check
out the "Shop
With a Conscience: 2007 Shopping Guide Brochure".
The brochure is available in an HTML
version or PDF
version. Or scroll down and take a look at
our sweatshop-free and fair trade products list.
2. Buy an EFJ shirt.
When you buy one of EFJ's sweatshop-free t-shirts,
the profits go directly to EFJ's operating budget.
And EFJ's sweatshop-free t-shirts make great gifts,
so check out EFJ's
Sweat-Free Store.
3. Buy a movie that raises
awareness.
Take a look at our choice list
of consciousness-raising films that happen
to be really good movies. We've made it easy -
each has a price and a link if you want to purchase
it.
OR
If you have seen our multimedia lecture recently,
you’ve seen “Behind
the Swoosh” - an exciting, 18-minute
documentary film on the time EFJ Co-Directors
spent living on $1.25/day in an Indonesian village
with Nike factory workers. We ask for a $20 donation
for this film.
